NOTES FOR AUTHORS OF ORAL AND PLENARY PRESENTATIONS
Speakers in Oral Sessions will be allotted the time slot of 15 minutes
including questions. Speakers in Plenary Sessions will be allotted the
time slot of 25 minutes including questions. Please note that the
Chairpersons of your session will have strict instructions to enforce this time
limit, so time your lecture carefully, considering approx. 2 minutes for
questions.
The use of computer driven presentation (Microsoft Powerpoint) is strongly
encouraged to support your high quality presentation. Overhead projection
(transparencies) is also acceptable.
For computer driven presentations please prepare on USB-storage,
flash-card or CD-ROM with your Microsoft Powerpoint presentation. Do not
compress (eg. "zip") or split your presentation on several discs. The software
in use will be Microsoft Windows XP / Power Point 2003 (Windows standard fonts
only). PC will be available in Organizing Committee's room to check the correct
functionality of your presentation prior to the session. The computer driven
presentations, which will be used during the oral presentations, must be handed
to the projectionist in the conference hall before the beginning of the session
of your presentation to be checked and assorted.
Speakers and Chairpersons should be present in the auditorium 10 minutes before
their session to be briefed and to get acquainted with audio/visual equipment
etc. and resolve any problems.
INSTRUCTION ON MAKING POSTERS
● The dimensions of the
poster board allow posters of up to a maximum A0 vertical format (841x1189
mm).
● The boards will be arranged in topic grounds and numbered
according to the Conference Programme.
The abstract, single spaced in English (11 size Times New Roman font), should include:
- Applicable subject number (1 to 5 above)
- Full title
- Full name and address of one author for all correspondence
- For each author and co-authors full name, affiliation, address, phone/ fax/ e-mail
- Purpose of the work
- Approach
- Scientific innovation and relevance
- Results
- Conclusions
An abstract should not exceed 1 page of A4 format (210 x 297 mm).
Deadline for receipt of abstracts: 31 July 2010
Abstracts should be prepared in English (obligatory) and in Russian
(desirable).
